Pillars for Progress
The Grand Lodge of Washington in developing its long range plan in 2000 established eight "pillars for progress". Each of the eight is essential to the attainment of strategic initiatives outlined in the plan. In an effort to encourage the individual lodges to develop their own long range plan and to recoginze the lodges that have made significant contributions to any of these areas, the Pillars of Progress Award was develped.
The eight pillars are:
